We are back at it with the Raise the Bar 9 Deadlift Only Meet! The same ol' story applies; Unsanctioned, deadlift and/or wagon wheel deadlift, no singlets required, you can wear a costume, get as goofy as you want, or come ready to go in full meet gear - the choice is yours!  This is an awesome environment for a first time lifter, and has also proven to be fun for some of the local old-heads to come show out in front of the home crowd.  While this meet is always about helping out our neighbors, we will still have the light show & fog rocking again, as well as some awesome best lifter awards ready to go in honor of the ninth annual Raise the Bar Meet!  Let's party!

Sanction/Rules:

This is an unsanctioned event!  Your lifts will be judged as if it were a sanctioned event, but you do not have to purchase a federation membership of any kind!

 

Equipment:

Raw or Unlimited divisions.  Shins must be covered (socks, sleeves, tape, etc.)! Belts and wrist wraps are allowed in the Raw division.  Equipped will allow for the use of any equipment (singleply or mulitply briefs, suits, etc.).  No singlet required.  We will be using the 45lb Texas Deadlift Bar for both events!

Deadlift from the Floor - No Straps allowed. Powerlifting rules.

Wagon Wheel Deadlift - Conventional only, hitching, & Straps allowed. Strong(wo)man rules.

The entry deadline is 11/21/2025 or when the meet cap limit has been reached. If spots are still available, $20 late fee will be assessed if entry is submitted after this.

Spectator Fee:

$10; Children 10 and under are always free OR bring a new, unwrapped toy/craft/book/gift card for a boy or girl of any age in place of the spectator admission fee!
